Intellectual property - why is it worth doing it right?
Most companies connect intellectual property protection only with expensive patents for machines or high technologies, or at best – with the protection of the company’s logo.
This is a mistake.
Every company and scientific unit, regardless of its size or length of presence on the market, has its own IP. Whether it is the founder’s knowledge, a spreadsheet with key customers or a database containing written information on how to contact customers most effectively – it all states of intellectual property thanks to which a given company has more customers, serves them faster and generates higher profits.
Research units usually have greater knowledge about the IP they possess, but have problems with its efficient valuation and commercialization.
